Cookie Policy

Last updated: Sept 14 2026

This site uses browser storage (specifically, localStorage, which behaves like a cookie for privacy purposes) in two ways.

Essential storage

Used automatically, with no consent banner, because the site can't remember your preference without it:

• treenet-theme — remembers whether you picked light or dark mode.
• treenet-cookie-choice — remembers the choice you make below, so we don't ask again on every visit.

Both stay on your device. We never receive their contents.

Optional cookies

We don't currently set any analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies. The banner you may have seen on this site is asking for your advance consent in case we add analytics later — for example, to understand how many people visit. If we do, we'll only activate that consent after describing exactly what tool we're using and what it collects.

Your choice

You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing the treenet-cookie-choice value in your browser's site settings, which will bring the banner back on your next visit.
